My where does time go?

I have just realized that I haven't posted one time for the month of Feb. Things are pretty crazy around here. We are still trying to find a place to live and get everything taken care of. Not to mention the snow hasn't helped things! My husband starts a new job March 1st and I'm still not sure how to feel about it. He is going to be a Correctional Officer at a maximum security prison. My stomach is in knots and I think I will be on edge for awhile. He has about a month or two of training on 1st shift and then he will most likely go to 2nd shift. That will change life as we know it! I will pretty much become a single parent at that time. It will be difficult, but I will manage! All in all, it will be the best thing for our family. Please pray for us to have the strength to face the challenges ahead.
I haven't done much crafting or any redo's lately, much too occupied with everything else. Hopefully in the near future I will have something to share.

Have a GREAT weekend!

  1. Heather, that does sound rather scarry! You have every right to be in knots! I hope you find a place to live soon. I like your new background! Hope to see some crafts soon!

  2. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers. Remember that God doesn't give us what we can't handle. He has a plan for you and your family. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Look at it as new beginnings and a fresh start of better things ahead for all of you.
We'll all be waiting to see what you'll have to share with us. I love the new background too!

  3. Hi Heather, Is me again, I'm trying to find a bucket or a breadbox for you but I did not find anything like that. I decided to make other things for your swap package. Hope I finish it for the weekend and send it to you early next week.I agree with the other girls above , GOD always had a purpose for everything that happen with us. Hope everything goes well with your DH in his new job and you find a better house to live soon. Take care, Evelyn
