I was working evening shift until last week and now I am on night shift. Evening shift was not for me!!! My sleep pattern was so messed. I would work till 11:30pm come home and be wide awake until about 2-3 in the morning and then back up @ 7am to get the kids ready for school. After sending them off to school I would crash on the couch and sleep till 11:30 or noon. Then leave for work again about 2:15pm...didn't leave much time to do things around the house or to spend time with my family. So far night shift is working out so much better! I come home and go to sleep while they are at school and greet their beautiful faces when they get off the bus in the afternoon. Usually helping with homework, getting baths, and selecting clothes for the next day is not all that fun...sometimes I would rather walk over hot coals or gouge my eyes out than to help with such simple task that turn so ugly. It's the little things like that, that you miss when your not around. You take all the drama for granted and you miss it....just a little bit! Another bonus...I won't have to miss any softball or tee ball games...<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">YAY</span>! I don't know how things are going to play out when the kids go on summer break...I'll never be able to sleep!<br /><br />Over the past year my style has changed a little too. I am a <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">pinterest</span> junkie and love getting all kinds of ideas. I still like antiques but I like to mix new with the old for that eclectic style...the lived in, cozy, kick your feet up kinda style. Here are a few examples...<div style="padding-bottom: 2px; line-height: 0px"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/146718900330457059/" target="_blank"><img src="http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/195132596324600009_Aq5G32bW_c.jpg" border="0" height="345" width="300" /></a><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/146718900330459571/" target="_blank"><img style="width: 325px; height: 217px;" src="http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/4644405835724572_XWI0LzzK_c.jpg" border="0" /></a><div style="float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px;"><p style="font-size: 10px; color: #76838b;"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/146718900330474787/" target="_blank"><img src="http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/176273772885060883_LYlhM9o6_c.jpg" border="0" height="241" width="271" /></a></p></div></div><div style="float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px;"><p style="font-size: 10px; color: #76838b;"><br /></p></div> <div style="padding-bottom: 2px; line-height: 0px"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/146718900330436658/" target="_blank"><img style="width: 281px; height: 376px;" src="http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/163185186467990069_MvfXeQ7z_c.jpg" border="0" /></a></div><div style="float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px;"><p style="font-size: 10px; color: #76838b;"><br /></p></div> <div style="padding-bottom: 2px; line-height: 0px"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/146718900330437812/" target="_blank"><img src="http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/208713763950931913_it0xkyAE_c.jpg" border="0" height="450" width="300" /></a></div><div style="float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px;"><p style="font-size: 10px; color: #76838b;"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/146718900330417458/" target="_blank"><img src="http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/175358979210770569_vohokQyc_c.jpg" border="0" height="400" width="300" /></a></p></div> <div style="float: left; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px;"><p style="font-size: 10px; color: #76838b;"><a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/146718900330430736/" target="_blank"><img style="width: 285px; height: 380px;" src="http://media-cdn.pinterest.com/upload/63824519689116851_2cc3OlAw_c.jpg" border="0" /></a></p></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Hope you have enjoyed my update and this little bit of eye candy...until next time! I finished nursing school and I am waiting to take my state boards, so while I wait I have time to catch up on some crafting! YAY!!! I forgot how much fun it was! I was in desperate need of things for the yard for fall...and since I'm still a broke student I had to make my own! I had 2 small scrap sections of a privacy fence left over so I put it to good use!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRzNF1Uh8ilXy44tTLgLD_w_p6Grmco2XHf3K_a-Tk5MKk6xAT7JCDu0x42mN4r-Ngmzsg4Yc9SNT-94W-5PHgt1Fau7f8beQGwri-YlNZ9ep7Ix-ufEHHlrq5dEx4jcaVrDV-dFtYmmg/s1600/scarecrow.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 149px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRzNF1Uh8ilXy44tTLgLD_w_p6Grmco2XHf3K_a-Tk5MKk6xAT7JCDu0x42mN4r-Ngmzsg4Yc9SNT-94W-5PHgt1Fau7f8beQGwri-YlNZ9ep7Ix-ufEHHlrq5dEx4jcaVrDV-dFtYmmg/s200/scarecrow.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655242915617232018" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKecPqrOkQjReuBo2IQ4x9YSJUGvFqmdU9Tp8cNV3OeDG51EgS6WKgKNwpCeM8SjVQSx_2BaX236lYKCabeDYIGZytBsE3QphJe2oQ6nXf2IyeRYuN_NhH5UfDUpQa43oRKvfxF6GLXAs/s1600/pumpkins.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 137px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKecPqrOkQjReuBo2IQ4x9YSJUGvFqmdU9Tp8cNV3OeDG51EgS6WKgKNwpCeM8SjVQSx_2BaX236lYKCabeDYIGZytBsE3QphJe2oQ6nXf2IyeRYuN_NhH5UfDUpQa43oRKvfxF6GLXAs/s200/pumpkins.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655242923334460114" border="0" /></a><br />I made a fence, 2 pumpkins, and a scarecrow face. I think they turned out pretty good and cost ZERO dollars...right up my alley! I love FALL, it's my favorite season. I would be perfectly happy if it was fall all year long...and so would my husband. He loves to bow hunt!<br /><br />I'd like to share one last thing. I was looking through a magazine the other day and saw a picture of a basket of apples. I fell in love with that picture UNTIL I looked at the price tag...$289 ZOINKS! So, I thought it was just a basket of apples. How hard could it be? Harder than it looked that was for sure! But here is what I ended up with.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjg2zmDB2baFTCGbFZKSI97jUJpWupWjt_i5cXmpBBeRtVxpXP7tTjHiITEr-7VpLaPi9VerTxXG4T3B6_vEQhBvwXlCwlTPfiKPQy2i2j3SWa0e9XK0iyHeWsyYyB1PhlWgjvDdci6kWI/s1600/applesbasket3.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 150px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjg2zmDB2baFTCGbFZKSI97jUJpWupWjt_i5cXmpBBeRtVxpXP7tTjHiITEr-7VpLaPi9VerTxXG4T3B6_vEQhBvwXlCwlTPfiKPQy2i2j3SWa0e9XK0iyHeWsyYyB1PhlWgjvDdci6kWI/s200/applesbasket3.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5655247727139795666" border="0" /></a><br /><br />In closing let me just say, I'm glad to be back! I hope you enjoyed the projects I shared and I plan on sharing more projects with you soon.<br />Thanks for stopping by!<br />~Heather<br /><br /> ~Celebrate something every day, no matter how insignificant it may be!Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13043008998911937875noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6697004569061500772.post-70589641239246736792011-03-30T10:25:00.000-07:002011-03-30T11:17:04.257-07:00In Rememberance...<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4TxltgL9HUe_ZOGj_IrfxUjd1pfJFvUdntOeI13PMNoONfMwu5IuErIrI_zpimpVhsHH6NQ5kxPHaOoJsfs05Ei_ra1v-V8Ypyx0n2f4GidtkRYbwC5iK9hz7POPQBMagnMGCA39LpB4/s1600/Copy_of_picnik.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 134px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4TxltgL9HUe_ZOGj_IrfxUjd1pfJFvUdntOeI13PMNoONfMwu5IuErIrI_zpimpVhsHH6NQ5kxPHaOoJsfs05Ei_ra1v-V8Ypyx0n2f4GidtkRYbwC5iK9hz7POPQBMagnMGCA39LpB4/s200/Copy_of_picnik.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589938126193190962" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3n5EZBHcasIM_FCz7Lcuhi81woozql94JyQ1uxgC-vLa4lk8FdOvVaHQZAQ8Tq88_SvvoePXggiqiNA9F3hCyOWFMC1LgjKEIHILBn2mEEhK_wMf42JpdL63Ik58qdqvN-rTUwZ85bLk/s1600/Copy_of_old_pics_211picnik.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3n5EZBHcasIM_FCz7Lcuhi81woozql94JyQ1uxgC-vLa4lk8FdOvVaHQZAQ8Tq88_SvvoePXggiqiNA9F3hCyOWFMC1LgjKEIHILBn2mEEhK_wMf42JpdL63Ik58qdqvN-rTUwZ85bLk/s200/Copy_of_old_pics_211picnik.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589938132636834994" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigrviIyBqW7ZxrCPZUUg5SFyTP4YFPb_72x8k-7EWahchubMYOoz4iTLowGae6GEGx3m6I54zq2_vCCoBj5fCDj-c6J8NwdOwlziwWcgxCCUzENMeThqcZHoMmG9TUmPgCK4_4nZFA_KM/s1600/kids_050pic.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 162px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigrviIyBqW7ZxrCPZUUg5SFyTP4YFPb_72x8k-7EWahchubMYOoz4iTLowGae6GEGx3m6I54zq2_vCCoBj5fCDj-c6J8NwdOwlziwWcgxCCUzENMeThqcZHoMmG9TUmPgCK4_4nZFA_KM/s200/kids_050pic.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589938127635675666" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_x40ZDLbJR-kshC4NAsiwnS5KGpCuNsXrVW_XWo8vzy88DouucPTcLUJ8KeDuRyVd7YxH8XJCI02qLw1AnMgUstK2NFLNwPSMr-YSpl1t4_gdAtJdbtRFe-G_-WzSZ7nPZlQYfyEiItk/s1600/old_pics_260pic.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 184px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_x40ZDLbJR-kshC4NAsiwnS5KGpCuNsXrVW_XWo8vzy88DouucPTcLUJ8KeDuRyVd7YxH8XJCI02qLw1AnMgUstK2NFLNwPSMr-YSpl1t4_gdAtJdbtRFe-G_-WzSZ7nPZlQYfyEiItk/s200/old_pics_260pic.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5589938116641772930" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><span style="font-size:100%;"><span style="font-family:georgia;">Yesterday the heavens received a new angel...my Great Grandpa died at the age of 99. He has lived a very full life filled with a loving family by his side. Up until about 6 months ago he lived at home and came and went as he pleased. He has touched so many lives especially mine. He was the kindest, most tender loving man I knew. He raised a garden every year, picked berries, grew dahlias (they were his mothers favorite), did wood working projects, and he had a way with animals! I have never meet another person to have such a connection with animals as he did. On some level I do believe he was a dog whisperer. His body was failing but his heart was still going strong...it was just a matter of time. We knew his time on earth was coming to an end and in his finals days it was hard to watch him slip away. We wanted him to be at peace and let go...but even so when it happened it hit me like a Mack truck that he was gone. It doesn't matter how old the person is or weather you see death coming or not...it is so hard letting go of a person that means so much to you! </span></span><span style="font-size:100%;"><span class="messageBody"><br /><br />I will not be filled with deep sadness today. I so badly miss not chatting with all my primitive friends, I started nursing school a little over a month ago and it's been a BIG adjustment for my family and I. I'm really starting to have the primitive blues. I miss chatting with everyone and seeing all the wonderful creations and most of all I'm having Prim Swap withdrawals...I really enjoyed reaching out and connecting with so many of you. Please don't forget about me and hopefully someday when I'm a nurse I can reach out connect again with my prim buddies! <br />Take care ALL!<br />~HeatherHeatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13043008998911937875noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6697004569061500772.post-44698298869789920212010-05-30T13:25:00.000-07:002010-05-30T13:36:21.324-07:00Thank You Kim!I just wanted to shout out a BIG thank you to Kim (the prim schoolmarm). She was my partner in Char's Summer time swap. She sent me some WONDERFUL stuff! I love it all! I will post pics as soon as I can. <br /><br />Sorry it as been such a long while since my last post. I currently don't have internet at my home so I just have access when I visit my mom. Home life has been pretty difficult lately. My husband started his new job as a correctional officer at a maximum security prison and he hates it. Finances are still a strain and there seems to be no end in sight. I try to look for the silver lining, but I think it has fizzled out. <br />I hope everyone is kicking off their summer this weekend and enjoying time with friends and family!<br /><br />Have a GREAT one!<br />Happy Memorial Day!<br />~HeatherHeatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13043008998911937875noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6697004569061500772.post-13499576732012346212010-03-05T08:13:00.000-08:002010-03-05T08:54:25.431-08:00My Trashy Swap goodies from EvelynFirst off, I have to say I really enjoyed this swap and a big Thank You to Char for putting it together! Things are pretty crazy around here. We are still trying to find a place to live and get everything taken care of. Not to mention the snow hasn't helped things! My husband starts a new job March 1st and I'm still not sure how to feel about it. He is going to be a Correctional Officer at a maximum security prison. My stomach is in knots and I think I will be on edge for awhile. He has about a month or two of training on 1st shift and then he will most likely go to 2nd shift. That will change life as we know it! I will pretty much become a single parent at that time. It will be difficult, but I will manage! All in all, it will be the best thing for our family. Please pray for us to have the strength to face the challenges ahead. <br />I haven't done much crafting or any redo's lately, much too occupied with everything else. Hopefully in the near future I will have something to share.<br /><br />Have a GREAT weekend!<br />~HeatherHeatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13043008998911937875noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6697004569061500772.post-6220721955176063162010-01-29T12:00:00.000-08:002010-01-29T12:15:37.219-08:00Necchi BU Nova sewing machineOkay, ladies I need your help! I bought a Necchi BU Nova series sewing machine at an auction for $5 it is in a cabinet and it does run. I need help on threading it and adjusting the tention and feed. I am a new sewer so I don't know much about it. My mom came over to help and we can't get it so I need your help! If you can help in any way I would appreciate it!<br /><br />Thanks,<br />~HeatherHeatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13043008998911937875noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6697004569061500772.post-21084613206841703822010-01-27T07:50:00.000-08:002010-01-27T10:23:31.576-08:00One of My "Other" PassionsMy oldest daughter turned 8 yesterday...my how time flies! I get so caught up in the hustle and bustle with the daily chores, preparing meals, homework, all the things that mommy's do I forget to treasure each and every day with my kids. They grow up so fast! <br /><div> </div><div>Now onto my other passion. I love photography! I have been looking into taking some classes, trying to find a photography club or something to help me gain the knowledge I need to pursue this hobby. I just like taking pictures and with the right knowledge I think I could be pretty good. I would ultimately love to do photography and prims to help bring in some $$. I have talked with a photgrapher that I met via her blog and she was self taught and has encouraged me to persue more. I just need to learn the know-how and practice...practice...practice! Not to mention buying an AWESOME camera. Hopefully I can stay focused and make this a reality! Here a few of pics of my kids that I took thiss past summer and fall. </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>As you look at the pictures please don't judge too harshly, just remember I am not a pro. I just like pretty pictures!</div><div><div> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8wCiN3e-ev5R8Zo7MRpA2ywWFb9bzvVgoSWlMGKXq5n2SywrClBus-ciPxAbwIQlQDzSa7v51-gwI6HwpS8iwczXFKzsM4WpF3y4SF7ibCbCwv_yC8GEzCOpVgI558UTCA17Pv2mwHCY/s1600-h/f.bmp"><img style="WIDTH: 215px; I have been working on all kinds of labels lately. I kinda like it. I'm only using MS word...I would LOVE to get one of the new photoshop programs. I would be in front of the computer all day!<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq8r1ah7gHeWcVeoWNr3y5WP4Bvahi-EiRgmRh8ewej7gymdT1aX19BFMJF_5-CTRVIsPlWtB41v8syZHTyiSVO9LIL6ybwr59vVO1lDkWTy4gZUqFzD8P-O01h9GKt-sExVwLIqT9Czg/s1600-h/vday+lbl.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 388px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq8r1ah7gHeWcVeoWNr3y5WP4Bvahi-EiRgmRh8ewej7gymdT1aX19BFMJF_5-CTRVIsPlWtB41v8syZHTyiSVO9LIL6ybwr59vVO1lDkWTy4gZUqFzD8P-O01h9GKt-sExVwLIqT9Czg/s400/vday+lbl.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5428910780986186290" border="0" /></a><br />I got to go to a couple of TS on Monday. I went to 2 GW's and struck out...nothing! Then I went to Salvation Army and got a few things. I will have to show pics at a later time...my camera needs new batteries. It eats them...I go thru so many batteries!<br /><br />I have entered a couple of swaps lately so I've been busy working on all of those goodies. I am learning how to use the sewing machine and how to embroider. My mom is teaching me. We live 1/2hr from each other so finding time that we are both available and good weather, well let's just say it's been a slow process. I hope to get the hang of it. Seeing all these wonderful goodies everyone is making lately is inspiring me and making me a little jealous! Keep up the good work ladies!<br /><br />Lastly, I would like to post an email that was forwarded to me this morning. <img src="file:///C:/Users/RANDY&%7E1/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-2.png" alt="" /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: georgia;font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;" ><span>Burnt Biscuit</span></span><br /><br /></div><div style="font-family: verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: italic;"><div style="text-align: center;"> </div><div style="font-family: georgia; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:85%;"> </span><span style="font-size:85%;color:black;"><strong><span style=";color:black;" >When I was a kid, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. I have lived like a hermit! I am officially going stir CRAZY! I had planned on going to GW yesterday (since it's been ages) but the kids didn't have school AGAIN. I have been looking at all the GREAT finds everyone has been getting at GW lately and I started *jonesin real bad. Tomorrow is the day I go to GW...no stopping me! Being cooped up is for the birds! I made myself a little Valentine tree, since I had nothing prim for Valentines Day. It turned out really cute. I wish the pic of it did it justice. She came down the stairs this morning and said "Mommy, where's eye?"(she just turned 2 on Monday). She started complaining of her ear hurting yesterday and her eye started gooping up last night. She woke up this morning with her eye completely matted shut. She has been fighting a cough and congestion for about 2 weeks...I think it's time to go the pedi. After wiping the goopy eye and fixing her breakfast, the mail came. I just assumed it was my xmas swap package...until I looked at the address. Then I thought...did I sign up for another swap that I forgot about <img border="0" alt="???" src="http://s4.images.proboards.com/huh.gif" /> I opened the box and it was some wonderful goodies from Kristine! While unwrapping my wonderful goodies it brought a tear to my eye. How very Kind of her to brighten my day!  Thank You Kristine!</p> <p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHSGsesxb7CFgwGcPlqSwfKBBShv30dWXxWCxZ9F_Xl8Y3r_UQdjbhnasgLLcE7PXswuelL30kjPA62L7HtXtZrMb_ruZTIP60Th9FHGomEV813wNjf12u74sKTxFVMv0uQCQ967FlEk4/s1600-h/Photo0146%5B6%5D.jpg"><img style="border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px" title="Photo0146" border="0" alt="Photo0146" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi18nL2ZnHIXXbh3L31aTAkhTzpz3UBzosONB7uuAmseC6rLyXw2Hc4Pr5ECI0lgMuIudE8RkqTFydqZ23NH0RTdJ4JC8kVXWff0pDwkBZrnqNUeBJROcoqhAY2diSLzkEnfzvXqhsegAE/?imgmax=800" width="242" height="328" /></a> </p> <p>I hope everyone has a great weekend!</p> <p>*** Happy Holidays! ***</p> <p>~Heather</p> Heatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13043008998911937875noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6697004569061500772.post-60246157696596927032009-11-25T07:21:00.001-08:002009-11-25T07:21:19.839-08:00Just need to vent!<p>Oh, it never ends! My husband got laid off and we got really far behind on bills. A little over a year ago we filed bankruptcy and lost our house. We then moved into his grandmothers house as a last alternative. Her health was failing so she moved in with my mother in law...and we would rent her house with the intent to later purchase once we got back on our feet. Well, This year has NOT been our year. My husbands has been lucky to get 30 hrs. this year...my pt job got cut. Just last month I had to go and apply for food assistance. Fighting every month to keep utilities on, food on the table, and gas in the car is so draining! We have not been able to pay our rent. His grandmother and my mother in law understand how much trouble we are having...they are having trouble of their own. Well, last night the bottom fell out of the bucket! My mother in law came over and told us that her sister is very unhappy and saying that all of us are taking advantage of her mom and that she is giving us till march and then she is kicking us out. Mind you this is my husbands aunt...she is going to kick our family of 5 out. Seriously...all of this just makes my head hurt. With the holidays among us it is even more nerve racking! I feel so sick to my stomach...I want to cry...I want to scream...I just want everything to go away. I am at a loss! I think for my family and many others out there, this christmas will be more like an "Old Time" Christmas. Many gifts will be homemade and with lots of love! I would like to make some primitive ornies for myself and for family. I would like to remind people it's not about the money it's the simple things in life that bring us joy. I can't sew, so if you have any no sew ornies please pass them along.<br /><br /><br />VERY FEW TOYS this year...<br />The crazy thing is my children don't play with toys. They don't get toys except for birthdays and christmas, and maybe thats the reason they don't get played with. Every year I feel guilty so I go all out and buy all kinds of toys and they get played with for about a week or 2 and thats the end of them. My kids love to craft! They will sit for hours coloring and painting etc. That is why I think this year I am going to put together a craft chest together for each one of them. They will love it and it will keep them busy for hours! I am looking for any other budget gift ideas if you have any to pass along.<br /><br />Happy Hump Day!<br />~HeatherHeatherhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13043008998911937875noreply@blogger.com1
